With an inventory of thousands of fabrics, sewing notions, quilting patterns and reference materials, we are a dealership for Artistic, Bernina, Burnette, Janome, EverSewn and Elna sewing machines, with a full-service shop repairing all brands of sewing machines. We also offer a wide variety of quilting, sewing, and machine embroidery classes, with a line-up of many fine teachers and remain on the lookout for more.

Angela Thornton is the owner of The Quilt Basket.  She has been managing Quilt’n Thyme Sew & Vac for the past 2 years until its closing.  Previously Angie did longarm custom quilting while raising her children.  When she moved to Corning about 5 years ago with her husband Keith, she retired from longarm custom quilting.  Angie has taught quilting and sewing classes for many years in her hometown of Ukiah, CA.  Angie is looking forward to this new chapter of her life and her new quilt shop.
